Nebraska farmers must decide whether to replant

NORFOLK, NE. (KTIV/US92) -

Farmers all over Nebraska are dealing with damaged, and in some cases completely destroyed crops, following last week's storms. For many the question now becomes to replant or not.

The UNL Extension in Dodge County is hosting a crop disaster informational meeting Tuesday night to help with that decision. Organizers said the meeting will feature extension educators and agronomists who will give advice on replanting crops destroyed by hail. Officials will also cover crop insurance at the event.

The meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the City Auditorium in Uehling, Nebraska.
