Madison, NE man accused of pointing a gun at two NCC students will sentenced next month
MADISON, NE (KTIV/US92) -
A Madison man accused of pointing a gun at two Northeast Community College students will be sentenced next month.
John Ertzner, 23, entered a plea of no contest to terroristic threats last week in Madison County District Court. In return, prosecutors agreed to recommend a one-year prison sentence.
Ertzner was arrested in March, after two Northeast students reported to police that he followed them into a parking lot at the ag complex and pointed a gun at them. Ertzner told authorities that he did have a realistic looking BB gun with him in his vehicle, but denied pointing it at the students.
