PROGRAMMING NOTE: KTIV, Siouxland CW and METV will not be off air for transmission line work as originally planned

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - KTIV will be not be going off the air early Saturday morning as originally planned.

Crews were scheduled to perform transmission line repairs to our tower which would have taken us off the air June 14 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. KTIV's Chief Engineer was planning to turn off the signals for KTIV News 4, Siouxland CW and METV for this repair work.

The crew working on KTIV's repairs was diverted to Kansas for emergency tower repairs for another television station.  The planned repairs have been rescheduled for sometime next week.

KTIV will keep you updated on when those repairs will take place, when we will be off the air, and when we plan to be back on the air.
