Boaters that were able to take advantage of Sunday's nice weather had to deal with the storm's aftermath while riding up and down the Mighty Mo.
A lot of debris that may be invisible to the naked eye, but could be lurking just under the water's surface ended up in the river.
Thad Bowen, of Lawton, Iowa, who took out his boat this weekend, said the water levels were very high. He said it's muddier than he's ever seen before.
"It's dangerous, more dangerous than it normally is, with all the obstructions in the water. You really have to watch, for especially large trees, a little tree won't do too much to your boat. But, a large tree can really screw you up, and even turn you over," Thad Bowen, of Latwon, IA, said.
Woodbury County leaders urged all boaters to be cautious of debris in the waterways.
