The Canaries and X's wrap up their series on Sunday.
Sioux Falls scored three runs in the top of the ninth to knock off Sioux City 5-1 Saturday night to even their three game series up at a game a piece.
Each squad took advantage off errors to score their first runs of the game.
In the top of the third, X's catcher Todd Jennings tried to pick off a runner at second, but the throw sailed into center field. The Canaries Brandon Jones cashed in on the opportunity, driving home Kevin Doltz on a fielder's choice.
In the 4th, it was Sioux City taking advantage of a Canaries miscue. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Tommy Mendonca flied out to deep center allowing Rene Tosoni score and tie the game up at one a piece.
Sioux Falls added a run in the 8th before plating three more insurance runs an inning later.
Tosoni led the X's going 3-for-3 at the plate.
Greg Holt pitched 7.1 innings, and took the loss for Sioux City.
Game three of the series is Sunday. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. at Lewis & Clark Park.
