Suspect in murder case given probation in plea deal

The third person indicted in the death of a former Sioux City man has been granted probation.

Twenty-year-old Tyler Brown pled guilty in an Arizona court, to one count of concealment of a dead body.

Authorities believe that Brown helped cover up the murder of 21-year-old Jordan Peterson in November of 2011.

Peterson's body was found in an Arizona desert two-months after he disappeared.

Reed Marrone pleaded guilty to killing Peterson to avoid a drug debt.

He was sentenced to 25-years in prison.

A jury convicted 22-year-old Bryan Lee of Peterson's murder last month.

Brown, who testified against Lee was given three years probation.
