Wichita repeats as champs, downs Bandits in Champions Bowl II

Wichita won its second straight title on Saturday.
Trailing 41-40, Joe Kassanavoid connected with Rashad Daniels on a 25-yard touchdown strike with 1:06 left to play in the fourth quarter, lifting Wichita past Sioux City in Champions Bowl II, 46-41 Saturday night.
It's the second straight CPIFL championship for the Wild.
After falling into a 30-7 hole, the Bandits scored 31-unanswered points to take a 38-30 lead late in the third quarter.
Scott Jensen finished the night just 7-of-15 for 89 yards and one touchdown.
Johnny Bentley, who led the league in rushing, was held to just 32 yards on 11 carries. He led the team with 47 receiving yards. As a team, the Bandits were limited to 99 total rushing yards.
