Wakefield, NE canceling volunteer cleanup Sunday due to weather

Due to the severe weather that's moving in yet again, some areas that have been asking for volunteers in the last few days are asking that no one come out Sunday.

Wakefield, Nebraska has been working to clean up since the June 16 tornadoes damaged several farms to the east of town.

However, because of the severe weather predicted for tomorrow, they're not going to be taking volunteers.

The volunteer work should resume as normal next week, and if you'd like to help, you can call the Wakefield fire hall.
