X's score 15-unanswered runs in 17-8 comeback win over Amarillo.

 After falling into a 6-0 hole, Sioux City scored 15-unanswered runs to defeat Amarillo 17-8 on Sunday.

The Explorers take two out of three from the Sox and improve to 18-26 on the season.

Sioux City pounded out 17 hits and clubbed three homes run in the victory.

The rally with a three run 3rd and followed that up with a two run 4th.

After a scoreless fifth, the X's exploded for six in the 6th.

Dillon Usiak led the inning off with a walk before Todd Jennings crushed a two run home run to put Sioux City up 7-6.

Three batters later, Tim Colwell singled home Oscar Mesa to give Sioux City a two run lead.  Renee Tosoni followed that up with a two-run
blast to extend the X's lead to 10-6.

Peter Barrows drove the in the final run of the frame with a fielder's choice.

The barrage continued in the 7th, with Sioux City tacking on four more before capping the night off with a two run 9th.

It's the most runs Sioux City has scored this season.

Andres Perez was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two RBI.  Tim Colwell finished the game 5-for-6 with four RBI and four runs scored while Rene Tosoni finished 3-for-6 with 5 RBI.
