UPDATE: Antelope County Supervisor Harlan Brandt facing theft charges
NELIGH, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -
An Antelope County Supervisor facing felony theft charges has requested a preliminary hearing in county court.
Harlan Brandt of Oakdale made his preliminary appearance on felony theft charges Wednesday morning. The 62-year-old is accused of stealing between $500 and $1,500 worth of items from the county over a two-and-a-half year period.
Brandt's attorney, Ron Temple, requested a preliminary hearing, which will be held July 16 in Neligh.
Brandt represents District 6 of Antelope County on the Board of Supervisors. The board asked him to resign last month, but he has yet to do so.
