Tornadoes cause damage in Grundy County, Iowa

REINBECK, Iowa (KWWL) - Sunday evening's tornadoes caused some damage near Reinbeck, Iowa.

A few homes across the street from each other were in the path of the storm.

The storm ripped off roofs, caved in a garage door and damaged a detached garage.

There was also damage to a machine shed.

Several trees were uprooted and several power lines downed.

There are no reports of any injuries.

As for Severe Weather in Siouxland, KTIV's Meteorologist Ben Dorenbach said it'll certainly seem like we'll just be picking up right where we left off on Sunday, with warm and sunny conditions.

We'll see a warm and sunny morning, but showers and thunderstorms are likely to start moving into the northern half of the viewing area around lunch time Monday.

Some of these storms could produce some large hail and gusty winds at times.

Thunderstorms are expected to continue through the early overnight hours and should move out of the viewing area by midnight.

Afterwards, clearing skies and lows around 60 degrees are expected.
