Posted:
MADISON COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

A plea deal may be coming in a Pierce County vehicular homicide case.

Twenty-one year old Carlos Espinoza-Sanchez was in Pierce County Court Wednesday afternoon.

His attorney asked the court for a two-week continuance so he and county attorney can discuss a plea agreement.

Espinoza-Sanchez faces three counts of vehicular homicide related to a fatal accident north of Pierce back in April.

Pierce County authorities say Espinoza-Sanchez was driving recklessly, when his vehicle left the road and rolled.

The accident killed three people and injured six, including Espinoza-Sanchez.

Espinoza-Sanchez will be back in court on July 23.
