Additional charges are filed against two people accused of stealing cattle

Two people are facing numerous charges in Antelope County after being accused of selling cattle that wasn't theirs also now face charges in another county.
Arrest warrants were signed for 27-year-old Benjamin Johnson of St. Edward and 22-year-old Rebecca Robbins of Lyons in Boone County Court last week. The two are accused of depositing a counterfeit check of almost $2,000 in a St. Edward bank in early June.
The two now face felony theft charges in Boone County, to go along with the three felony counts related to the stolen cattle from a Brunswick farm.
The two have not yet been located. Johnson's mother told authorities that she was told the two had fled to South Dakota. Anyone who has any information on either Robbins or Johnson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Antelope County Sheriff's Office at 402-887-4148.
