Kirk Hinrich has agreed to a two-year contract with the Chicago Bulls. Kirk Hinrich has agreed to a two-year contract with the Chicago Bulls.
Sioux City native Kirk Hinrich spent his first seven seasons in the NBA with the team that drafted him, the Chicago Bulls. After brief stops with in Atlanta and Washington, the West High grad has spent the last two years in Chicago and it looks like he may end his career with the Bulls.

On Sunday, the Bulls agreed to terms on a new two-year deal with Hinrich, who was a free agent. Hinrich averaged about nine points and four assists in 73 games last season.

The 33-year-old has averaged over 11 points per game during his career including a career high 16 per game in the '06-'07 season.

While back in Sioux City last month, Hinrich told KTIV SportsFource that Chicago is where he wants to be.

"I grew up a Bulls fan. I've been a Bull for nine years so I've always considered myself a Bull so it would be great if that could work out," said Hinrich.

Hinrich will reportedly earn $8-million -- all guaranteed -- over the next two seasons.
