NELIGH, NE (KTIV/US92) -

An Oakdale, Nebraska man has entered a plea agreement to five charges related to an incident where he ran over a backyard campsite with his truck.

Forty-three-year-old Stephen Barrington pleaded guilty to five charges including four misdemeanor assaults and one count of DUI in Antelope County Court Wednesday morning. In return, prosecutors dropped two other charges.

Barrington was arrested in May, after getting behind the wheel of his truck after drinking and driving into his backyard, running over a makeshift campsite and injuring four boys in the process.

As part of the plea agreement, the court is asking that Barrington be sentenced to a total of one year and 60 days in prison. His sentencing has been scheduled for September 3rd in Antelope County Court.
