LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) -

Iowa DCI officials now have the car that belonged to a couple found dead earlier this month near Akron, Iowa.

The Iowa Medical Examiners Office ruled Esther Neunaber's death a homicide, but final result of Donald Neunaber's autopsy are not yet complete.

Their son, Jonathan Neunaber, was taken into custody as a material witness in La Crosse, Wisconsin a couple days after the couple was found dead.

He was brought back to Plymouth County and is still being held on a material witness warrant without bond.

No charges have been filed.

Today, the sheriff's office confirmed the car Jonathan Neunaber drove to Wisconsin is now being processed in Des Moines at the DCI Crime Lab.

No word on when that will be complete.
