SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -  A 56 foot sculpture in Sioux City will be rededicated in Sioux City this weekend.

The Sioux City Art Center will rededicated the sculpture titled "Sioux City."

The sculpture, better known to many as "French Fries", was created by John Henry in 1977.

It was originally placed near 4th and Jackson streets before it was installed at the Art Center last year.

At the same time as that re-dedication, the Art Center will release a publication for the Jackson Pollock exhibit.

Its a free family guide with additional information on the painting on display until April 1st.

"We are also remembering that this is our 100th anniversary. So we will talk a bit about that and we will introduce a new publication," said Al Harris-Fernandez, Art Center Director

The public is invited to attend Saturday's Birthday Bash at the Art Center starting at 10:15am.

There will be face painting, balloon sculptures and workshops just to name a few.
