SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

An eighth day of testimony is underway in the double murder trial of Juan Nino Estrada of Sioux City.

On the witness stand Monday morning were technicians who gathered fingerprint, bloodstain and ballistics evidence the night of the killings.

Two of the Sioux City Police Department's ID technicians testified about the evidence they gathered from the home on West 27th Street, where Estrada is accused in last November's fatal shootings.

The technicians identified several of the weapons previously discussed in trial.

Then, the prosecution's final witness took the stand, Detective Mike Simons, who interviewed Estrada after the shootings.

The video recording of Estrada's interview will be played for the courtroom Monday afternoon.

KTIV's Kayah Gausman will have a wrap up for us on News 4 at Five and Six.
