Noteboom Implement celebrates grand opening of Sibley, IA dealership

A nearly $2.5-million project, which was almost a year in the making, celebrated its grand opening with the help of several hundred community members, Thursday.

Noteboom Implement, which is a John Deere supplier, opened its doors in Sibley, Iowa with a big celebration. The facility has already created 17 new jobs in the community. CEO Dan Noteboom says he hopes to add at least 10 more.

While the Noteboom family has only been in Sibley about eight months now, Dan Noteboom says they're excited to be a part of the Northwest Iowa Agriculture community. "Ag is such an important part of who we are. It's kind of the roots of how we, I mean, we feed the world. That's just so exciting to be a part of that. And that's what our commitment is here in Sibley, is to help our producers through value added agriculture," Dan Noteboom, CEO of Noteboom Implement said.

KTIV's Kayah Gausman was at the grand opening, and spoke with community members and Iowa Governor Terry Branstad about the impact Noteboom Implement will have on Sibley. She'll have more, coming up on "News 4 at 10."
