UPDATE: Deer crashes into a window at a downtown restaurant

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Some people got quite the scare on Wednesday while eating lunch at a downtown restaurant. Around 1:30 p.m. a deer crashed into a window at Rebos in Sioux City. Witnesses at the restaurant said it shattered the first layer of glass.

"Crash like a gun shot and all at once the window just crumbled in and we didn't know what happened," said witness Jill Brouwer, who was at Rebos eating lunch.

The deer was removed by Sioux City Animal Control. They said, it suffered severe injuries and was later euthanized. No people were injured and the restaurant remains open. Fire crews were also there assisting in clean up.
