Northeast Community College and Concordia University located in Seward, Nebraska are doing what they can to make college just a little more affordable for students.
Dr. Michael Chipps and Rev. Dr. Brian Friedrich presented the financial agreements made between their respective colleges, at the Lifelong Learning Center in Norfolk.
The agreement guarantees that Northeast Community College graduates with an associates degree will receive $12,000 in institutional aid at Concordia University in Seward.
Dr. Michael Chipps says, “Both Dr. Friedrich and I agreed to the fact that we would take a private liberal arts education, and our assessment of that is to make it affordable and accessible to students.”
Dr. Michael Chips says they already have around 90 graduates a year who go to Wayne State College and he hopes to see just as many attend Concordia University.
