A few hit or miss t-shower popping up on Storm Team 4 FutureTrack
After an unsettled first half of the week, we're closing it out on a much better note. High pressure will be building in from the north giving us NW winds which will continue to usher in a cooler and much less humid air mass. Highs will be climbing into the lower 80s under a partly cloudy skies making for a beautiful July day. We can't completely rule out a t-storm chance as there is a system moving just to our south. The chances are slim but they will be in the forecast through tomorrow. Winds will begin to take on a more SE turn as we head into Friday with highs barely making it the 80 degree mark. Dew points will slowly begin to rise but it will still be a pleasant day across Siouxland. We have a better chance of storms Saturday into Saturday Night as an area of moisture dips through the region. A few could be on the stronger side and include damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rain. These storms could linger into Sunday AM before we finally clear out before another chance of storms returns Sunday Night. The start of the workweek looks dry hot with temperatures rising back into the 90s come Tuesday along with much higher humidity.
