An argument, involving two students at a northwest Iowa school, has led to the discovery of a video of students engaged in sexual activity.
Authorities say that tape was circulated on social media, and by text message, which may have led to the argument.
The argument happened at the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Remsen-Union school on Wednesday.
Marcus, Iowa police chief Brian Flikeid said one of the students involved in the argument was in the video and engaged in the sexual activity. Flikeid believes the other student in the argument may have shared the video with others.
Flikeid says the video is several months old, and was not shot by either one of the students engaged in the sexual activity. Flikeid added that the video was made in a private home, and not on school grounds.
No charges have been filed. But, investigators say charges could come in the future.
