Jurors met today with the judge in the case of an Estherville, Iowa, man convicted of second-degree murder.A jury found Lee Christensen guilty in the death of 19-year-old Thomas Bortvit.Christensen's attorney filed two motions citing nine reasons he says his client deserves a new trial.Among them, he claims jurors were influenced by a Facebook post that indicated riots would break out in Estherville if Christensen was acquitted.According to court officials, the jurors were questioned about the social media impact on the trial on Tuesday, October 18. Court officials say the judge could have a written ruling here in a few weeks.
