After a drier Monday across much of the region, more moisture is on the move and it looks like we could see some here in Siouxland for our Tuesday. The system that brought all of the rain to the area Sunday is continuing to circulate to our north and some of that precip. will be drifting back into KTIV Viewing Area today. Clouds will continue to limit our temps with highs topping out near 40°. Most of the area will see snow showers but we some neighborhoods could see a mix but As temps begin to cool we'll see some flakes mix in through the afternoon hours. We'll see a changeover to snow possible later on tonight for much of the region as temps fall back towards freezing. Accumulations will be light but we could pick up coating-0.5" here in Sioux City with higher amounts to the NW of town. Winds will be sustained out of the W/NW through our day today changing to the NW tonight and will be quite gusty at times. Winds could occasionally gust as high as 35 mph through our day today into tomorrow. This storm system will continue to keep Siouxland mainly cloudy into our Thursday but we'll finally see more in the way of sunshine to kick-off the weekend. We'll see partly cloudy skies right into next week with highs rising from the mid 30s Thursday & Friday to near 40° Sunday & Monday.
