Second and third graders from Spalding Elementary were able to learn the importance of bike safety Thursday afternoon.
A representative from the Iowa Bicycle Coalition was there to teach the students different safety tips.
The representative also taught them the rules of the road and different road signs.
The students were put through a running obstacle course where they would have to use their hands with making various turns.
200 students were able to experience this today.
