Authorities confirm a 38-year-old Nicholas Staber from Sioux City died following a train versus car accident at 31st and Springdale Drive in Sioux City Thursday morning.
Authorities say they believe Staber crashed into a stationary train just after 9 a.m.
There were no passengers in the vehicle.
The incident is still under investigation.
First responders were called to Business 75 and 31st Street in Sioux City Thursday morning for a car versus train.
