The month of May started on quite a warm note but things have cooled off over the last few days. That was especially noticeable Saturday with overcast skies, occasional light showers and temperatures stuck near 50 degrees. We do stay pretty close to that temperature through the night with a chance for more drizzle and even some patchy fog. Some showers may linger into Sunday morning with clouds hanging around through most of the day.The good news for Mother's Day is that it will be a little warmer as we top out in the 60s.This is due to a shifting warm front which will give us a chance for some storms Sunday night into Monday.Severe weather doesn't look likely.Temperatures will continue warming with highs near 80 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday. We will have plenty more chances for showers and thunderstorms though with isolated chances Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and more widespread wet weather possible to close the week.
