The trial for a northwest Iowa man, who is charged in the stabbing death of his sister, is set for July.
34-year old Thomas Bibler was set to go to trial for first-degree murder, willful injury causing serious injury, and going armed with intent, on May 15th. But, a judge granted a defense motion for a continuance. His trial is now set for July 24th.
Bibler faces a mandatory life prison sentence if convicted. Bibler was arrested in June of 2016 after a standoff with police at his Le Mars apartment. His sister, 27-year-old Shannon Bogh, died of stab wounds at the hospital in Le Mars
