WATCH LIVE at 7 p.m.: Iowa Democratic Gubernatorial Primary Debate

Iowans will get a second look at the six Democrats running for their party's nomination for governor.

The first debate was Sunday night, in Davenport.

Wednesday night, they'll debate, live, on Iowa Public Television.

Sunday night, Nate Boulton, Cathy Glasson, Fred Hubbell, Andy McGuire, John Norris and Ross Wilburn tackled topics as diverse as mental health care, collective bargaining, immigration and abortion.

The candidates share similar positions on many of those issues.

And, all were united in their criticism of Republicans, and sitting Governor Kim Reynolds, whom one of them will face in the November election.

In fact, at one point, candidate Dr. Andy McGuire gushed, "we have great candidates... I would tell you any one of us would be better than Kim Reynolds is right now in that governor's office."

The University of Virginia's Center for Politics looked into its "crystal ball" at the governor's race, and said the race "leans Republican."

But, that's a far cry from calling Kim Reynolds seat "safe." The debate gets underway at seven o'clock, inside the Iowa Public Television studios here in Johnston, Iowa.

KTIV's Matt Breen will have a full wrap-up of the debate, tonight, on "News 4 at Ten."
