A warm and muggy afternoon has given us thunderstorms in parts of Siouxland yet again. Those storms were in eastern Siouxland and that threat looks to dissipate by sunset. The next chance for thunderstorms moves into western Siouxland around midnight and has the possibility of bringing mainly damaging winds but also large hail as it moves in.It will be losing some strength as it moves eastward through the area but will be capable of heavy rainfall as it moves through as well. Some lingering showers will be with us early Saturday before we clear things out by the afternoon. It will be another humid day with temperatures approaching the 90 degree mark.Sunday looks even hotter with highs into the 90s and the heat index near triple digits.More storm chances move in on Monday and once that cold front moves through we will get a little break from the heat, humidity and storms Tuesday.More storm chances return Wednesday and Friday.
