Engineers predict future expenses for Trosper-Hoyt

An item on Tuesday night's board of supervisor's meeting came with a big price tag.

Engineers came before the board today with study results for HVAC system at the Trosper-Hoyt Building

They say that many things need to be fixed, and will cost the county money.

Supervisors say this isn't an easy fix, and will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

"One of the systems draws off of ground water for cooling for what they call a 'chiller system'," said Rocky De Witt, Board of Supervisors Chair. "Its reliable, but it still doesn't last forever so we're gonna have to look at alternatives for the cooling systems."

De Witt says no action will be taken yet.

This was just a preliminary study.
