On Saturday, some Siouxland children take part in story time, all for a good cause.
The reading session took place at Barnes and Noble for a fundraiser to raise money for a new discovery library at Jackson Recovery Centers.
Psychiatrist Dr. Richard Brown read to kids at the bookstore today to promote the importance of literacy.
The library is for children and teenagers at Jackson Recovery Centers.
This new library will be a brand new addition to the center's school.
"Reading many times leads to imagination with imagination then we really get very curious and then that imagination generally leads to discovery once we have discovery then we can also find ways to find solutions and every time we find solutions we move closer to success," says Dr. Richard Brown, Psychiatrist.
The library is still under construction and there is no opening date at this time
