Kristen is the weekend anchor at KTIV. She joined the station in November 2003 as a producer/reporter. Over the years she's reported on everything from Monster Truck Racing to the race for the White House. While she likes the variety in her job, politics is her passion. Currently, she follows the activities in city hall as well as state and national politics.
In May of 2002, Kristen graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Journalism and Political Science. She then spent a summer interning for NBC Network News in New York. Gaining this internship was a dream come true for Kristen, who decided at an early age that she wanted to follow in the footsteps of Jane Pauley.
Kristen grew up in the Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. She enjoys traveling, listening to music, and watching the news-of course!
