Randy has called Sioux City home since 1986 after graduating from the University of Michigan and moving from Metro Detroit. His calling card has been emblazoned with the KTIV logo since 1996.
Randy has won numerous Addy awards for creative excellence during his career. Early on, Randy wore many different broadcasting hats including directing, producing, videographer, Creative Services Director, Promotion Manager, as well as freelance work for several Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes using all forms of advertising media as a consumer.
Out of the office, Randy volunteers with many community non-profits including Committee Chair of Boy Scout Troop & Pack 214, Kingdom of Riverssance Renaissance Festival Steering Committee, River-Cade Admirals' Club, and Saturday in the Park. He is an alumnus of the Sioux City Police Citizen's Academy as well as the Community Emergency Response Team training. Randy has also served as, Past Chairman, Wine & Roses Festival; Board Member, Big Sioux Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association; and Board Member of the Sioux City Advertising Federation.
