SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - One of the businesses taking advantage of the “Small Business Marketplace” hosted by Downtown Partners of Sioux City is Nightingale Coffee. You may recognize the coffee shop from the Sioux City Farmer’s Market during the summer and fall seasons.

During the winter, owner Alex Paulsen relocates to the Southern Hills Mall and depends on different events and collaborations with other Siouxland small businesses to bring in profit for the shop.

“So you get a lot of these really passionate experts in their field who are either well established or building like I have over the last three to four years as a business. So, it is a neat opportunity for people to get down and do that sort of thing in the downtown area. it has a lot of historic charm and it is a fun place to vend so I am excited to do that,” said Alex Paulsen, owner of Nightingale Coffee.

Nightingale Coffee will partner with Rooted Boutique, in Sioux City, on Black Friday to serve coffee to shoppers. Paulsen says he is always eager to collaborate and support other small businesses.
