SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -Many of Siouxland’s furriest four-legged friends got the opportunity to meet Santa and have holiday pictures taken.

That’s because the Siouxland Humane Society’s Paws ‘N Claus event continued Saturday.

The annual event is a signature fundraiser for the Humane Society. The proceeds go to directly help the animals at the shelter.

People bring their pets in for holiday pictures. Leaders with the Humane Society said it’s great seeing newcomers and others come back year after year.

“It’s just great to see the community come out and support the animals at the shelter and you can get your holiday photos done and support a cause at the same time,” said Missie Fischer, Director of Development.

If you missed your chance to get pictures taken on Saturday, you still have one more day left, Sunday will be the last day. You can sign up by clicking here.
