SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Thanksgiving Day has arrived and with it cooler temperatures throughout much of the KTIV viewing area. As we start our morning you can expect clearing skies with lows near average in the low 20s and high teens.

As we make our way through the day there will not be much warming up. Highs today are only supposed to reach the low to mid 30s under mostly cloudy skies. The skies do look to gradual clear early on in the afternoon as we continue to see a light breeze coming in from the northwest between 5 and 15 miles per hour.

This evening we will keep some of the cloud cover around leaving us with partly clear skies to wrap up the holiday. Lows will once again be near average in the low 20s for much of Siouxland.

The warmth looks to return for our Friday as we are expected to once again be above average with our temperatures reaching the mid 50s under sunshine filled skies.
