Musketeers beat Fargo for third straight time

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Sioux City Musketeers move into sole possession of second place in the Western Conference standings with a 3-2 win over Fargo on Wednesday night.

The Musketeers broke a scoreless tie in the first period when Dylan James pushed one by Louden Hogg for his fourth goal of the season. That gave Sioux City a 1-0 lead.

Sioux City doubled their lead in the second period. Nick Pierre beat Hogg glove side. His sixth goal of the season extend the Muskies lead to 2-0.

Fargo scored twice in the first nine minutes for the third period to tie the game at 2-2. Bret Link scored a short handed goal and Charlie Lurie scored on a power play.

Just over 30 seconds after the equalizer, Sioux City regained the lead on a goal from Charlie Schoen which would end up being the game winner as the Musketeers get the 3-2 win.
