BRUNSVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) - Christmas came early for several northwest Iowa charities, Sunday. The Independent Riders for Children and Charities presented over $3,000 to local charities.

The money, which was raised during the organization’s 30th annual Toy Run back in August, benefited Le Mars Headstart, the Le Mars Police Association with their “Shop With a Cop” program, “Josh’s Ride”, and “Sleep in Heavenly Peace”.

“This is great. These are great organizations. We’ve got a lot of support for us that we raised all this money. It means a lot to us to be able to give back to the community,” said Randy Luschen, IRCC President.

Luschen added they had around 80 people come out and take part in the ride back in August.
