SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - After taking a break because of the pandemic, the Sioux City Museum & Historical Association’s annual Holiday Open House returned Sunday.

Folks could come in and tour the historic Peirce Mansion as it was decorated for the holiday season.

Those touring the mansion could also take time to enjoy some hot cider or punch. The open house served as a “thank you” to the community for its support throughout the year.

“It’s kind of nostalgic for a lot of people. And you know, kind of a first-time experience for others. So, it really serves as a good resource for the community,” said Don Duzik, Peirce Mansion Committee.

The event was free for the public.
