South Sioux City earns win in first sanctioned girls wrestling meet

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Nebraska (KTIV) - The South Sioux City girls defeat Norfolk 48-17 in their first sanctioned home wrestling meet.

Norfolk got the first points of the dual. Kali Mangelsen pins Alexandra Chavez to give Norfolk a 6-0 lead.

South Sioux City answers at 145 pounds. Dana Reynoso picks up a pin over Casey Koch to tie the match at six.

Norfolk picked up a win at 114 pounds when Jasmine Haller wins by fall.

Then at 152 pounds, South Sioux City’s Yohaly Quinones gets pin in the second period as the Cardinals roll to a 48-17 win.
