Fire destroys Central Cafe in Hawarden, IA

HAWARDEN, Iowa (KTIV) - The owners of a small-town restaurant in northwest Iowa is cleaning up after a fire destroyed their business.
Central Cafe in Hawarden is a total loss, according to owner Chad McVay. On Facebook, McVay said the fire happened sometime after 3 a.m. Sunday.
On Central Cafe’s Facebook page, it says the establishment just went through several renovations.

HAWARDEN, Iowa (KTIV) - A fire overnight on Dec. 25 destroyed the Central Cafe in Hawarden, Iowa.
Chad McVay, owner of the Central Cafe, submitted pictures to KTIV News 4 that show the structure complexly destroyed.
“Our family business is gone. Central Cafe is a loss,” McVay wrote in a social media post. “Thank you to the fire department and the fire departments from the surrounding communities.”
