Police search for non-injury ‘hit and run’ suspect

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Police are searching for the driver of a black SUV who apparently fled the scene.

The crash occurred in the 1400 block of Court Street. An officer on scene told KTIV News 4 that no injuries were reported, and that an overturned car blocking the road was the suspect’s.

According to the officer, the cab of the overturned vehicle smelled of alcohol. The SUV apparently overturned after striking a parked car, which sustained some damage.

Police on the scene did not release a description of the suspect.
