SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Sioux City police are searching for a suspect after a stabbing was reported Monday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m. an SCPD officer came across an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was found outside an apartment in the 500 block of 17th Street. The man was sent to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

The officer who came across the scene says he saw two Black males fleeing the area where he found the victim. At this time they are not to believed to be suspects in the case but may have information on the incident.

Investigators have determined the victim and the two other males ran from the area of 17th and Jackson Street and then stopped in front of the apartment due to the victim’s injuries. It is currently believed that they were involved in some sort of altercation at another location with an unknown suspect. At this time, police have no description of the possible suspect.
