SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Temperatures started off near zero again this morning and, with a decent southerly breeze in place, wind chills were well below zero to start off the day.

That wind is actually helping us warm up, though, and we will end up close to 30 this afternoon as a result.

It is blustery which will dampen the effect a little bit.

Clouds are starting to increase and some light snow is possible this afternoon into the evening as a clipper system moves through Siouxland.

Amounts will likely end up being only a few tenths of an inch but visibility could take a hit with those gusty winds in place.

Any snow showers trail off by midnight but a few flakes may fly again Saturday night as a series of Alberta clipper systems drags through the area.

More on the warming temperatures and the light snow chances tonight on News 4.
