Minervas in Okoboji closing its doors, reports say

OKOBOJI, Iowa (KUOO) - A longtime restaurant in the Iowa Great Lakes area is reportedly closing its doors for good.

According to KUOO Radio, Minervas is scheduled to close following New Year’s Eve. The restaurant has been a fixture at the Arrowwood Resort and Conference in Okoboji, Iowa for many years.

KUOO Radio says Minervas is in a leased area of Arrowwood and reportedly there are plans for the space to be redesigned with another establishment possibly opening in that same space under a new name later in 2024.

Minerva’s in Sioux City will remain open, according to reports.
