Man in South Sioux City dies from gunshot wound

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - South Sioux City emergency services responded to a 911 call early Saturday morning and arrived to find a 24-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at Flatwater Crossing Apartments and the call came in just before 4:30 a.m. Police indicate that another male resident had been holding the firearm and accidentally fired with alcohol present at the time as well.
Sioux City resident Tobias Thomas has been arrested on a Manslaughter charge and is currently held at the Dakota County Jail.
