Iowa Great Lakes Chamber unveils logo for 46th annual University of Okoboji Winter Games

ARNOLDS PARK, Iowa (KTIV) - Planning for the 46th annual University of Okoboji Winter Games is underway as the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce unveiled the logo for this year’s celebration.

This year’s design features the traditional winter blue color scheme with a pop of red. Work on the logo began as soon as the 2024 Winter Games concluded.

Over the last few months, the University of Okoboji Winter Games Committee and Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber staff worked with the team at Blink Marketing in Milford to design the logo. Inspiration was pulled from the event’s rich history.

“We love the tradition of all of the games, like all of the games that we have, so I really wanted to go with something traditional that everyone will love, I really love that old school feel with that pennant flag. So, we are just super excited,” said Morgan Strauss, Director of Marketing & Events for the IGLA Chamber of Commerce. “Blink took our words and put them into an image, and the way they do that is just magical and we can’t take them enough.”

This year’s celebration will take place January 22 through 25.
