Brandon Martin

Brandon Martin first joined KTIV in September 2020 as a Weekend Web Producer. In September 2021 He became the producer for the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts. Brandon left the Station in May to spend time with his family, but returned in September 2022 to keep pursuing his passion for News. Upon his return, he became a Multimedia Producer, handling video editing and getting out to the field behind the camera. In January 2023 Brandon moved to the assignment desk as the Assignment Editor and continues to help out on producing for the web and newscasts as needed.

Brandon was born and raised in Sioux City. He graduated from East High in 2005 and later went on to study journalism at Western Iowa Tech Community College, graduating in 2021.

When not at the station, Brandon spends time with his wife and six kids. He is an active foster and adoptive parent and adopted a 16-year-old in 2020 He enjoys watching movies and playing video games in his spare time. He also likes the random day road trip to visit places like the Omaha Zoo.
